Busy Schedules and Princesses

Hello all.

Sorry I haven't posted anything for awhile. I have been so busy with business and life. I have been busy making onesies and shirts for a large order and a bunch of small orders, in addition to preparing and working a craft show and getting ready for another HUGE show. I also had to fill my urge to change something in my house; I moved my office to where my kids' toys were downstairs and gave them a playroom. I hope this will also help with my sanity to give them a place of their own to mess up and have fun! :) In addition to all of this, I had to help find the perfect Halloween costumes for my chicas. One had a definite idea of what she was going to be: a pink princess; the other, well she changed her mind hourly. So after checking the internet and comparing prices and outfits, I found two cute Disney princess costumes: Sleeping Beauty and Snow White. They look adorable in them and they love the costumes too. I'll have to post pictures when I find my camera! :) I got inspiration for this blog from the costume search. Here is my homage to everything pink and princess.

Inspired by Fall...

Can you smell it?! It's the smell of pumpkin bread, sharpened No. 2 pencils, burning leaves. Oh, I love these smells! Fall is approaching! My favorite season. I love everything about fall; the cooler temperatures, the ability to wear long sleeve tshirts and sweatshirts without getting a funny look (I wear them even in the summer), holidays, and oh school supplies! I'm so content in the fall. Everything in fall inspires me to create something. The colors of the trees, the fun new school supplies that come out each year, acorns and harvesting my garden's vegetables. I love the line in the movie, "You've Got Mail," where they are talking about sending someone a bouquet of No. 2 pencils, I would love getting that as a gift! So to inspire all of you and just make me happy here are some images of fall. I'm also including a few new products of mine inspired by fall.

Preparing for Craft Shows!

So I've signed up for a couple craft shows this fall: Pufferbilly Days here in Boone and the Ankeny Santa's North Pole craft show. Besides working a bunch on making tons of onesies and other craft ideas that are brewing in my head, I've been researching craft show set ups. I found some really gorgeous designs and wanted to share some with you. I found some great displays sharing a common theme of bunting flags. I think they're all fun and draw attention to the booth. Something I may have to think about...
